This tool likes to rewrite history and claim the current proponents of ivermectin were "hcq pushers" when in reality they were the docs who saw the benefit of steroids months before recovery trial, and saved thousands of lives with math+. Armchair experts like this are useless

The same astroturf website that was pushing
#Hydroxychloroquine is now pushing#Ivermectin using the same bad arguments. I stand by my statement.2 replies 0 retweets 25 likes -

Also, they're not content just saying that
#Ivermectin *might* have modest therapeutic effect against#COVID19. Oh, no. They have to spin it as a "miracle cure."2 replies 0 retweets 11 likes -

But more than that, they have to portray
#Ivermectin as having only a one in a quadrillion chance (or some such ridiculously huge number) that all the positive trials in their meta-analysis could have come about by random chance alone.1 reply 0 retweets 10 likes -

Basically, I'm at the same point with
#ivermectin for#COVID19 now that I was with#hydroxychloroquine several months ago. It might have some modest effect, but the evidence is really questionable right now. Will ivermectin turn out better than HCQ? That remains to be seen.2 replies 1 retweet 13 likes -

In other words, even if
#ivermectin is ultimately validated in randomized trials as having some activity against#COVID19, right here, right now, it's being massively and irresponsibly portrayed as some sort of miracle cure, just as#hydroxychloroquine was in March and April.3 replies 2 retweets 12 likes -

YouTube videos are not clinical validation. Well designed peer reviewed randomized clinical trials are. I just searched PubMed and didn’t find any for

Seriously? Those are not peer reviewed randomized clinical trials. Their results have not been published in the peer reviewed literature yet, which is why they don’t show up on a PubMed search. Do try to pay attention.

actually abandoning/disregarding the necessity of peer reviewing evidence now. This has to be a new low. Because that worked so well for the MMR vaccine autism link research...1 reply 0 retweets 1 like - Show replies
