Being lumped in with those guys is incredibly insulting to someone who has dedicated his life to the proper application of science to the bedside.

Dr. Kory called
#Ivermectin a "wonder drug" and a "miracle drug" in his testimony before Sen. Johnson's committee, did he not? That's pretty quacky-sounding, and I will continue to say so. Because it is.8 replies 1 retweet 11 likes -

So we agree. More studies would be needed before we could just shout ivermectin has a "miraculous impact" and that "if you take it you will not get sick" or that it "obliterates transmission of COVID".

Did you watch the video from the WHO sponsored meta analysis? He himself used the word “transformational” and said “we need to figure out optimal dosing” There have been 11 RCTs, he says they want to see the 3 coming in Jan(why not wait for 80 RCTs?)https://youtu.be/yOAh7GtvcOs

Yes I did. I haven't read the studies he analyzed but I intend to today. My point was that he concluded that they needed more data to confirm what he suspects is true.

Yes, it is. Seriously, when I see
#Ivermectin being pushed by the same people who pushed#Hydroxychloroquine using exactly the same bad arguments and kinds of dubious studies, it’s, as Yogi Berra once said, déjà vu all over again.8 replies 9 retweets 46 likes
Interestingly, #Ivermectin fans are now citing a dodgy "meta-analysis" video done by someone who's a consultant for @WHO and @UNITAID and representing it as the WHO endorsing Ivermectin as "transformational" for #COVID19. Uh, no. That's just his opinion, not that of the WHO.

didn’t the WHO say remdesivir was the way with one preprint article
Using The WHO as a benchmark is probably not the best choice with their given track record
