Nice article. Every city has their physicians who, for the most part, are good doctors, and then they get lured into believing and shilling some un-truth. Where and when did they go wrong. Some of them might be poor doctors, but some are otherwise good. What happened?

Some physicians don't know statistics. I tell the residents, "to be a good doctor you need to understand Bayes Theorum, know about stage migration and realize that Marilyn Savant was correct about the Monty Hall problem."

Like with driving. If someone fails they should progressively get peer pressure, points on their license, fines, taking their license and a refresher course required.
