I spend a *good* time of my life teaching patients how to reach scientific articles. After *how to find them and how to access them*. And those are the motivated ones- if you got a #Melanoma killing you, learning Science isn't that scary.

Antivaxxers are conspiracy theorists, and all antivax beliefs (not “concerned,” antivax) are rooted in conspiracy theories. Hard core antivaxxers are no more reachable than QAnon believers. You can only inoculate the susceptible against their disinformation.

An interesting thread, demonstrating the worth of calling out & identifying anti-vaccine misinformation pushers & separating them from the ‘concerned’ & curious & worriers looking for answers about the risks & benefits of a medical intervention.

Which it is *precisely* so important not to throw them all on to the same pile, take true concerns serious and not waste energy on the laggards. Accusing people of being ignorant is a poor educational strategy (but gets you the attention of more educated ones it seems ;-))
