I think there's definitely a point where there's value to that, but not until we have more vaccine available than people who want it. Certainly not now though.

It wouldn’t bother me if 100 celebs with influence and wide appeal did this.

I’d much prefer celebrities with influence who have been vocal about masks (eg
@joshgad and George Clooney) then elected officials who have dismissed the pandemic and refuse to give struggling Americans the relief they need (such as@marcorubio,@SenRonJohnson).

Since we know it's going to happen anyway, why not just take 1% of the vaccine and sell it for $1million a pop. Take that and pay for decent PPE, sick leave for front line workers, and feeding the US.
