Yet another example of how being an atheist doesn't necessarily mean that you are reason- or science-based in your belief system.https://twitter.com/MrAtheistPants/status/1339008019829428225 …

You assume, based only on the fact that we disagree, that my reasoning is not based in logic and science. Its math, actually, and its quite sound IMO. When you diminish, demonize, and dismiss opponents, You reduce yourself to the size of your echo chamber.Maybe next time ask.

No need to ask. If you don’t think
#COVID19 is much more serious than the flu, then your “reasoning” is most definitely NOT based in science and logic.

for 95% no big deal. the other 5%, its death unless you get excellent medical care.

It's definitely not "nbd" for 95%. About 1/3 of symptomatic patients have long-term (i.e. weeks to months) of big problems with it.

wrong.. some just get no symptoms at all. maybe they encountered covid18 or covid 17???

I think its now estimated that 80% are no symptoms, right? So thats 1/3 of 20%?

Eva-bunchofnumbers blocked me. Where do you get the 80% from?

I got it from a
@Timcast video. The numbers are where its at. They don't care about politics. But I should verify the 80% number2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
81% is the very highest estimate I’ve seen for the fraction of asymptomatic infections, which is why pandemic minimizers latch on to it. That number is almost certainly way too high. Estimates range from 17-81%, and the correct number is probably more like 30-40%, possibly lower.
