The ability to admit being wrong is one of the most important virtues, and it is extremely difficult. It should be emphasized in families and schools alongside standard virtues like honesty, sharing, and kindness, starting as young as possible.

McLaughlin had a personality, that I really enjoyed. It was entertainment, and the viewers in the 80's who watched it on public broadcasting, were soohisticated enough to know that. Dr. Gorski is right about that model, taken to the extreme, being sold as hard news, in 2020.
