Dont call doctors who are doing important work including managing ventilated covid patients all day and scouring global literature and appraising it and having journal round tables and not seeing their families fucking quacks. Can i be more clear about that?

I take it back. The FDA gave HCQ an emergency use authorization for covid and ID docs all over the country including in academic centers, were prescribing it and advocating for it. I think you should track them down and write them all and call them quacks. And call the FDA quacks

What you're saying re:HCQ is the reason that some, including me, are recommending caution and a lack of lay interference in health matters. My mother, who is a GP, was a big advocate of HCQ and we had several arguments about it. But I didn't call her a quack because she's my mom.

I will call anyone else a quack. Just let me at em boss. But in seriousness, because I really think we reached a perfect understanding, Dr. Kory needs media training and if your organization doesn't have the resources for it DM me and I'll find someone to donate their time.

I called a few HCQ pushers quacks back in the day because they behaved like quacks. Vladimir Zelenko is one example. Didier Rauolt is another. They were quacks.

Correct. They were quacks. My part time job was explaining to people why hcq did not work for covid. I am seeing something very different in the ivermectin data. Not calling it a cure or a miracle. The data emerging seem to be lining up reproducibly, and deserves a good look.

Dr. Kory called #Ivermectin a "wonder drug" and a "miracle drug" in his testimony before Sen. Johnson's committee, did he not? That's pretty quacky-sounding, and I will continue to say so. Because it is.

Your disciples R now coming after me 1 by 1, each I effortlessly send on their way with their tails between their legs. The latest thinks a NNT with a 95% CI between 4 and 15 is "large" and this is "underpowered." It indicates we must treat between 4 and 15 pts to stop 1 death

I have no “disciples.” However the choice of word to describe people who like reading my blog and Tweets *is* rather revealing to me. People who use religion-based terms to support bad science and attack criticism of bad science are often engaging in projection.

And you STILL. STILL. Have given no indication that you've conducted any analysis on this topic, or did any leg work whatsoever upon which to base your assertions, dogmatism, and pompous dismissal. Just more noise from an ivory towerist who doesnt even treat this condition.

How very scientific of you. People who use metaphors are awful. Did you pick that up with your "antennae"? What were you projecting with that - cockroach or martian?
