My purpose in posting that blog post was to say that #Ivermectin promoters are pushing EXACTLY THE SAME KINDS of horrible population "studies" #Hydroxychloroquine promoters were pushing several months ago, this time for Ivermectin. Bad study design is bad study design.🙄 #COVID19 https://twitter.com/EdoajoEric/status/1338908233382187008 …

It's funny, we want to engage in discussion about specific studies and hear colleagues' thoughts about design and method flaws, risks, benefits, etc. The response: CONSPIRACY THEORIST!!

That will always be the response, with doctors who align themselves with the FLCCC. If I were dying of thirst, I wouldn't even take a glass of water, from anyone involved with that group.

Would you accept corticosteroids and anticoagulants if you had full blown covid? Do u know who came up with that protocol?

It sure as hell wasn't FLCCC. 😂WTF .It took us all of two seconds, after seeing D-Dimers, to give heparin.

The use of steroids in ARDS and infectious ARDS has been debated at least since I was a resident in the 1990s. It was therefore natural that steroids were first tried in China to treat ##COVID19, before it even got to the US. It was an obvious thing to do.https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2770275 …

The article you are sharing is from September. Covid hit us in March. They all said, do not use steroids. The docs you are shitting on did an exhaustive review of the data and concluded the opposite, published a great paper, and got some docs using it.

Not until June was the practice accepted by WHO NIH or CDC. Turns out NNT for mortality was pretty low. Care to take a sec and think about how many lives the "quacks" saved, dingus?

Almost went down that road, but blocked him instead. He's clearly not self-questioning, and I don't like being asked about who I work for. Twitter is an escape for me, to unwind, not think too hard, be silly, and attack pseudoscience.

Data from SARScov1 MERS, H1N1 showed more pts died on steroids, so all major health authorities said dont use, Madhuri looked only at best RCTs that corrected for severity of illness, sicker pts more likely 2 die get more roids and concluded the opposite. Thats who ur shitting on

You dont have to acknowledge it. You dont have to apologize. Docs like u never do that. Just pipe down and stick to surgical oncology unless you have something productive to offer. #cluelessaboutthepandemic
