Also, increasing the activity of the immune system isn't necessarily a good thing. There's a lot of bad things that can happen with an over-active immune system. A lot of the deaths of
#Covid19 involve cytokine storms! -
Yep. I like to say that you shouldn't "boost" the immune system. You should fine tune it.

not that i'm defending or endorsing her position: But, surely healthy immune does 'depend' on vitamins intake/reserves, so if deficient, then 'restoring to normal levels' does technically represent a 'boost'. no? thinking Vit D and C esp. recall some research result recently on D

The immune system can be suppressed or lowered but it cannot be "strengthened" unless its repairing from a previous illness, addiction or something like this. A "boosted" immune system means you are experiencing fever, aches, chills, cough, etc.
