Antivaxxers are so silly. They can't tell the difference between a -80°C freezer that's only occasionally entered to get specimens and a -80°C freezer that will be in constant use as vaccines removed for administration and added as new shipments arrive.https://www.ageofautism.com/2020/12/the-cold-truth-about-covid-vaccine-storage-safety-and-human-error.html …

Seriously! When I worked for the MN Dept of Health, we had a whole fleet of monitoring sensors on EVERY fridge and freezer in our lab that logged temps and if one was out of range it would send an alarm to the supervisor and we'd be notified instantly.

Because the Big Corporation of Everything clearly doesn't care and will order administration of every single unit of vaccine they produced, no matter how they were transported or kept

Literally when I was in the lab pre-pandemic I lived in fear of the -80’s shrill whine if it’s temp dropped just a few degrees and it wasn’t quiet if it lost power, plus the building had backup generators for it when the grid went down

Sure. All our -80°C freezers are plugged into the red plugs, which are hooked up to the generators that kick in in the event of a power outage.

They have alarms. And they melt all over the place; typically at 2 am over the weekend

Maybe if ever site was staffed with my former coworkers who refused to hear the freezer alarms? Seriously these things have alarms on alarms, you’d know if it was out of temp in 10 minutes, not 3 days.
