So as a reporter do you agree that two of the leading vaccine candidates having randomized controlled phase 3 trials totaling >74,000 subjects without any grade 4 events (requiring urgent medical attention, hospitalization or death) is an impressive feat of science?

Peer review isn't how vaccines get approved. The FDA (yes the same FDA that blocked the approval of thalidomide in this country) is announcing the results of their review on Dec 10. I suspect we will get data then. I eagerly await your reporting.

But just to be clear...when the phase 3 trial data shows how effective these vaccines are in >74,000 subjects without any severe adverse events, you'll be reporting on this historical & scientific accomplishment, right?

There are side effects that are already well known. Headache, fever, chills, myalgia are common. You don't need to wait 2 yrs to report on what the FDA releases in 3 days...
