This might be a naive take but I think that a great deal of the vaccine hesitancy will disappear in a few months after millions have safely been immunized

well, I do report--pretty much constantly and barely even taking time off (today's a day off, in fact). But it turns out I'm also human and can hope for things.

Have you seen the raw trial data yet? I think that could help persuade people the vaccine is safe and effective, if they saw the actual raw trial data, not just some press releases. I'm assuming you've seen the raw trial data already or otherwise you would be more hesitant.

The raw data will reassure scientists and physicians who do clinical trials. Antivaxxers, on the other hand, will pick through it looking for any minor anomaly that they can use to paint the vaccine as unsafe, even though all clinical trials have minor anomalies.

No doubt anti-vaxxers will try to misrepresent things. C'est la vie. The rest of us would like to see such things as: - age breakdown participants (eg how many 75+) - was there a meaningful risk of inadvertent de facto unblinding?pic.twitter.com/3NXl9ujJzH

"The raw data will reassure scientists and physicians who do clinical trials." So you've seen the raw data? If not, how would you know? Or what is your confidence based on?

I know from experience with clinical trials, that’s how. I know from experience refuting antivax pseudoscience that antivaxxers will sell any little imperfections they can find to cast doubt on the studies. I’ve only been at this for 20 years.
