There's a reason for the internal control assays and synthetic positive & negative controls. We don't assume expert technicians are running the tests when we design them, and some of the POC tests are designed to be run by unskilled personnel.

I can't even think of the chain of logic where nosocomial infections would lead to a higher false positive rate? She's contradicting her own argument, hospital tests are literally conducted by "highly trained and experienced technicians" which should lower FP rates.
