yeah.....covid has an extremely low mortality rate. even lower than most influenza if i look at the dutch numbers. over here its 0.09% for people under 65.

It's way, way more complicated than that. For instance, a Michigan study of hospitalised COVID patients found that 40% of workers were unable to resume full time work 2 months after release.https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/11/201111180635.htm …

thats similar to some influenza strains. and you dont see civil right violating measures taken. on top of that. it does not work. that vast majorities of masks use by people stop bacteria not viruses. and the number of people that actually go to the hospital is below 1%

Wait - there's evidence that masks stop bacteria but not viruses? That sounds improbable.

most masks that people wear yes. a virus is tiny next to bacteria. it may stop some but not nearly all of it. not even close.

Of course, masks are designed to stop the respiratory droplets that carry the virus and are much bigger than the virus, not the naked virus alone.

oh yeah. im talking about the masks that people end up buying from amazon. as stated by the who it sits about 26% should have clarified there. and that is what needs to be focused on what most people use. seeing that's how it spreads.

when you talk containment you need to look at what the vast majority wears. not the best option. because this clearly is not a best case scenario.

Yep. And we all know that they're not a standalone measure, but one that needs to be combined with physical distancing, hand hygiene, and not touching the masks or our faces.
