I'm guessing the science purity scolds will say that this study was a waste of time and resources and should never have been done because, you know, the precautionary principle should win those prone to antimask crankery over.

Because sometimes the results need to be reemphasized for the fools who don't believe that that's what the results would be, off course, hence my sarcastic reference to "science purity scolds."
