This is a truly cringe-inducing take that blames the wrong people. It's not doctors doing studies like this that are political or that contribute to its politicization. It's politicians like our President, which lead doctors to feel obligated to do studies like this.

Seriously, this might be a "Well, duh!" study, but when combatting the antimask propagandists it's useful to have studies like this, as obvious as their designs and conclusions might be, to help combat antimask disinformation.
