Sweden has only 10% of people regularly wearing masks. Same with Japan. Very low covid. I'm not saying not to wear masks. I'm saying the ones that people are mostly wearing (cloth, neck gaiters) are useless.

Dude, do yourself a favor and go to the CDC's site, trace back the NIOSH standardized methods used for N95, and try the ones you can on a cloth mask. It isn't even close. Any thinking person who isn't a zombie media watcher knows this. Cloth masks are useless.

It’s complicated, and I don’t have time now to attempt to explain it in detail. All of medicine is more akin to engineering in that it’s applied science. *Most* physicians are not scientists (nor do they need to be), and that’s true for all specialties.

That being said, I wish physicians were more steeped in the scientific method, critical thinking, and skepticism than most are.
