His “research” on the paranormal is pure trash and always has been, regardless of his other background.

Hmmm...interesting. So you think people’s education and scientific background count for nothing if they ever “dare” to investigate or hypothesise on topics you find questionable?...Thank goodness we’ve moved on since the days of Galileo and other “heretics” been put to death!

People can have a real education and still engage in nonsense. Sheldrake fabricated a whole silly mechanism to try to explain how magic powers work despite research constantly showing it doesn't.

1/2 I'm well aware of that (e.g. Isaac Newton). That's not what I take issue with. Dr Gorski has repeatedly implied/stated that Sheldrake is not a "legitimate researcher" or "actual expert" - which is a completely untrue implication! Of course, real researchers/experts can do

1/2 You are missing the point I'm trying to make. You can't accuse someone of not being a "real researcher" just because you dislike the topics they research, or disagree with their methodology etc - and plenty of "real researchers" conduct experiments/promote hypothesis that

"Just because you dislike the topic" is too blatant a straw man for me to think you actually believe it. FU, troll.

I'm not a troll - you just don't seem able to discuss things in a civilised manner

Your arguments are dishonest, and I am calling you out for it. "Be civil while I engage in BS" might work on other people, but I am too familiar with these tropes to fall for it.
