There are people that think deaths are actually lower this year than in 2019. Not excess deaths, deaths period. I never thought I see the day where millions of people willfully believe in things that are directly contradicted by objective facts and data.
This came up on ROUNDS yesterday. As an unscientific sample, the "old white guys" were firmly in the "inflated numbers conspiracy" camp. Those less old-, white- or male- were increasingly likely to believe in reality.
