I live near Stanford & have been on campus often. Hoover is a weird mixture of some really good people I respect highly (like
@mcfaul, Bill Perry, George Shultz, Burt Richter (now deceased)) ... and ideologues. Hoover is on Stanford campus, but the relationship sometimes uneasy.
