I think you know that isn't true. Come on- as a doctor, surely you learned basic arithmetic? There is a very large difference between a "non-vote" and a vote for Trump. But you already know that.

Not casting a vote, or casting a third-party vote in the US system, doesn’t happen in some sort of magic vacuum like you imply. Voting isn’t an individual action, it’s a social contract.

That’s not how this works. A non vote is not a vote for one candidate because *either* side could make the case that a non vote is a vote for the other guy. (BTW, I’ve already voted for Biden)
