It must be nice to be able to just "check yourself into a hospital" because you have mild symptoms from #COVID19. How many people in the US who didn't have your privilege suffered and died at home because there had no health insurance or there was no room for them at a hospital?https://twitter.com/GovChristie/status/1312510988478889985 …

There might be karma in the universe after all, given that
@GovChristie appears to have caught#COVID19 coaching@realDonaldTrump how to bully a stutterer in the debate and/or appointing a Supreme Court justice to help gut the#ACA and take health insurance away from millions.3 replies 12 retweets 69 likesShow this thread -
But, OK.
@GovChristie can use his status to "just check himself into the hospital" because he's worried, given that his age, obesity, and asthma make him high risk for#COVID19 complications, while others are just told to go home and not come back unless they get short of breath.4 replies 7 retweets 73 likesShow this thread -
Replying to @gorskon @GovChristie
i think it's not even so clear that asthma is a risk factor for worse outcomes. I think one study may have even suggested protective?! (all lung diseases not equal....)

It's unclear, but I'm not aware of any studies showing asthma as protective.
