the irony here is that the advocates of "religious freedom" would lose their absolute sh*t if an atheist ever was named to the court...being an atheist is the only real disqualifier for the Marsha Blackburns of the world.

That whole "in God we trust" thing is really kind of weird to people in other countries. I get the impression that the USA is more of a theocracy than theocratic nations!
