If so, Connor's just wrong. Tons of center-left people are happy to condemn violent protests.

The fringe right has a major influence on the national GOP. The Revolutionary Communist Part has zero influence on the Democratic Party.

Yep. As an example, I like to point out that right wing antivaxxers, such as
@RandPaul and many state legislators in@OhioGOP, are mainstream in@GOP, while left wing antivaxxers like@RobertKennedyJr have very close to no sway among@TheDemocrats.1 reply 5 retweets 24 likes -

Well, that's also part of the problem.
@TheDemocrats politicians aren't afraid of criticizing fellow Democrats who are antivaccine, while@GOP politicians seem cowed and afraid of criticizing the antivaccine and antiscience cranks in their ranks.0 replies 0 retweets 6 likes -

Yep. And now I'm getting annoyed by the pearl clutching by some provaxxers that we shouldn't be preemptively warning against Trump pressuring the FDA to issue an EUA for a
#COVID19 vaccine before the election.2 replies 3 retweets 13 likes -

From what I understand, EAU's are only given when the full safety data are not available. When you're talking about something that will be given to up to 100 million people, that's the last place you want to shortcut. Esoecially with mRNA vaccines, which are new technology.
