Aside from the massive amount of deaths that will occur from pursuing community immunity - I don’t think it’s ultimately a successful strategy. This is a deadly disease & people less susceptible may not want to risk relative’s lives. 60%+ of us will protect ourselves from it.

I've always wondered if the term came about as a bit of a joke from the etymology of the term "vaccination" and development of the first small-pox vaccine.
I was thinking though that perhaps "community vaccination" might be a better term to avoid it being misused by others. -
Community immunity is possibly a better term.
