This is cute but the good news is that while the masses are looking for a short cut, plenty of people are tuning in to excellent advice by @ProfTimNoakes @DrAseemMalhotra @CarnivoreMD @KenDBerryMD and @GetWildFitpic.twitter.com/0KaNA2JDUv

There is pretty much zero evidence for this. Plus you are making erroneous comparisons.

Zero evidence for what? That people are looking for shortcuts? Or that people are looking for ways to take responsibility for their health? What erroneous comparison am I making? If you have a point, make it, driveby contradictions are a cancer of Twitter.

There is no scientific evidence that dietary improvements will significantly improve COVID outcomes in the same manner that masks, social distancing, other sanitary measures, and vaccines will.https://twitter.com/cadiulus/status/1299426167221518337 …

It absolutely should be studied but there is zero evidence at this point that acute dietary changes impact COVID morbidity/mortality. Morbidity seen even in otherwise healthy individuals. No diet negates need for vaccine development.

Brett.. you might be living in the same dark cave as the COVID bats; the evidence is clear: food-caused and food-exacerbated diseases make one far more susceptible to severe COVID infection and death. I NEVER said that eating well provides immunity.

But someone you cited most definitely did. He’s even hawking his new book claiming to boost your immunity to #COVID19 with his diet in 21 days! Yes, I’m talking about Dr. Malhotra.🙄

So you attack me? And wonder why I think you might be a shill. Also, his book is solid... it was the press that made it a choice between his book and a vaccine; to my knowledge, those were not his words. And they CERTAINLY are not mine.

You recommended Dr. Malhotra as someone giving “excellent advice.” I did wonder how long it would take you to trot out what I like to call the “pharma shill gambit.” Congratulations! You took a couple of Tweets longer than expected to trot out that predictable line of attack.🙄

I didn't say that they were not; I said that their full conversion to veganism is recent and, for that matter, not complete. Many Jains still drink milk. Hell, there is even a diary brand called "JAIN Dairy" in India. Why the namecalling?
