Tried watching Unwell on Netflix... I was hoping they would start by addressing all the woo garbage they make. They did not. Do not recommend.

It was so painful. So much "tell both sides" BS. I couldn't believe they had multiple people claim essential oils cured cancer without any response from a physician. Dangerous & irresponsible reporting.

Thank you! I was watching it and then it ended and I was like “that’s it? We’re just going to leave all these clearly bogus claimed unchallenged??”

Always fascinating when people have surgery for a tumor, refuse chemo/radiation, then claim the essential oils cured them, not "Western medicine." So the apparently curative surgery was somehow not included in your arbitrary of "Western medicine?"

I’ve written about this phenomenon more times than I can remember, going back to 2004. It comes from a fundamental misunderstand of the difference between curative and adjuvant therapies. http://oracknows.blogspot.com/2004/12/understanding-alternative-medicine.html …

A particularly egregious example of having undergone surgery for cancer, refused chemotherapy, and then attributing his survival to the quackery he chose to pursue after surgery is @chrisbeatcancer, who's built an entire "alternative health" business.https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/chris-beat-cancer/ …
