I do so love a good straw man argument. Here’s a hint: NOBODY is advocating any of that.🙄🤦🏻‍♂️https://twitter.com/PawelKaluza5/status/1292154730622464001 …

Oh so nevermind people's lives, education and careers. Let's just keep everyone locked down forever, until a unicorn, not properly tested vaccine will come that will stuff pharma companies owners with a trillion of dollars.

You are comparing going to schools/continuing lifes to something bad like cigarettes, for a disease that poses almost no threat for young people. Covid is not going to suddenly disappear. Your statement's implying schools should remain closed for very long or risk with vax. No?pic.twitter.com/mZbhnnfJ9J

How many times does it have to be stated that young people end up spreading disease to not-as-young people? By definition, infectious diseases don't stay static!

What are you advocating then for if not lockdown and vaccines? What else comparing going to schools to smoking cigarettes implies?

Whose getting trillions for vaccines? Pharmaceutical companies make very little money on vaccines. They make money on pills to make your dick hard.

I will try provide some logic behind my post: @gorskon in his statement essentially comparing going to school with smoking cigs (which is ultimately a shallow analogy) and advocating for lockdown of schools (which is part of a larger lockdown). 1/

In my understanding, the infections are going to keep-re emerging as there will always be someone, somewhere with the active virus, who will pass it on, unless we all live really SHITTY lifes, without any human experience in it, indefinitely or till herd immunity 2/

If that is the case, then it is safe to say that lockdowns would have to either remain for good/ridiculously long time/will keep being re-introduced till a "cure" arises, for health authorities to be "happy" 3/
