With all that time in Detroit and Ann Arbor, did you ever get to see Bob Seger? I saw him numerous times at Pineknob, but always regretted not going to Cobo for his Nightmoves concert.
-
I saw him several times in the late 1970s and into the 1980s at Cobo and Pine Knob.

The Allman Brothers, SUNY @ Stonybrook. 1969 or 1970. No one knew who they were; they were the no name band who opened for Chicago (iirc). People went crazy.
-
They came back in 1971, the tech guys recorded them live, and the album was released in 2003 (not a bootleg). Amazing and a little more than a month before Duane died.

Haven't thought about Cobo Hall in ages. Saw ELP there my senior year in high school front row in front of Keith.
