I know that the nasopharyngeal swab for #COVID19 is very uncomfortable for many people, but it's not going to penetrate the cribriform plate (which is not near where the swab goes anyway) or enter the cranial vault and be used to insert something into your brain.

My ENT, prior to performing a sinus reduction, was very *VERY* clear that he would not work anywhere close to the cribriform plate, as puncturing it has dire consequences to the patient. These folks are just plain crazy. I want to know what their *actual* reasoning is behind this
