I'm moving to Germany next week, so to avoid jet lag, I gradually shifted my sleep schedule 5 hours ahead. So yeah, I did my run this morning around 6 and beat the heat! :-)

In the summer heat I get up at 0500 so that I can get a run in before it gets crazy hot. It's not easy, but when I have a race as a goal (even if it's a virtual race) the race goal provides motivation.

It's hard. But, you can't control the weather so you have to control your schedule. Plus, it's all done before life gets going and primes the rest of your day! Prep coffee night before and lay out clothes. Kill it!
