        When cholera was rampant there was actually an anti-sewer lobby in the town of Tamworth (UK), who thought that sanitation was an undue burden on the taxpayer, and would rather have raw sewage in the streets than a tax increase.

        Most studies disagree. Even this one suggests it improves survival in seriously ill, hospitalized patients — not that it prevents one from contracting the virus, or treats milder cases.

        Absolutely false. Unless you think that children dying of preventable diseases is preferable. Why don’t you look up photos from before 1958 of wards full of children in iron lungs after polio epidemics? Unless you’re afraid of having your nonsensical beliefs shattered.
