Dan Freedman, DO added,
@Stemcell_parent I am a provaccine advocate but bc each vaccine needs to be evaluated on its own merits, I can name a few vaccines that I would not myself or my family members to get. The question is, what vaccines can you name that you would want yourself or your family to get?
Why would this be your criteria ? You would only trust vaccines that you yourself had - where do you think those vaccines came from ?
OK. Which vaccines have you personally had, then?

Indeed. Not long before the pandemic hit, I got the MMR vaccine because I fall into the age range where it's not clear that I still had immunity from the measles vaccine they were using in the late 1960s. (Not sure if I need a second dose.) A while back I had my Tdap booster.
This reminds me. I also need my second dose of Shingrix, which was due around the time the pandemic hit and which got delayed when doctors' offices were closed to non-urgent visits. I should call and make a doctor's appointment to get it, and I'm due for a checkup.
Oh, and while I'm at it, I got the hepatitis A vaccine series because a couple of years ago southeast Michigan was in the midst of a very large outbreak of hepatitis A.
