Businesses are privately owned companies who have the right to refuse you service if you don't comply with their requirements. It has nothing to do with the constitution.

As have I. My wife (an APRN) remains unemployed because the job offer she had accepted was rescinded when the practice's patient volume plummeted in March, and I personally have thus far endured a 12% pay cut, which could go as high as 27% by August, thanks to revenue declines.

Don't get me wrong. I'm fortunate in that, even as an academic surgeon, I make a lot more money than average, and I still have a job. But the claim that doctors are profiting off of

Wife is an ICU doc. Job security is great, but to think this is somehow profitable for her or anyone else on the hospital is ill-informed at best.

Also funny because covid-19 patient care and pandemic restrictions cost hospitals more money than they make, especially since non-emergency surgeries are being delayed. That’s at least the case in WA and OR.
