‘New equidistance is immediately established’ Is different from, People have personal space. It has been observed when a crowded area becomes less crowded some people will tend to increase their personal space.

The inference that we don’t need social distancing because people will socially distance on their own. My personal observations is that while many people are trying to maintain distance, many are not.
