I finally left physician-only Facebook groups bc I couldn't take it anymore. I forgot how sheltering residency/academic life and med twitter can be.

The number of PhDs involved in pushing and stoking conspiracy theories is frightening. Even more so as it gives these theories a veneer of respectability and legitimacy.

As a doctor, I regard myself as having above mean, median and modal average intelligence. I also acknowledge that intelligence is multi-faceted and whist I may be good at some things, I'm most certainly not good at everything.
