It’s not a conspiracy. It’s new data on a new disease. “No masks” was the policy bc they don’t offer you much protection from GETTING the virus from someone else. But further studies showed masks DO help prevent carriers from SPREADING it. Hence, the change. Not that hard.

Well, we know masks prevent the spread of germs and viruses. Otherwise doctors and nurses wouldn’t wear them when doing surgery/treating patients (they’re not afraid of catching things from patients). I mean, that’s literally medical science for a century

You do realize people wore masks in public a century ago to prevent spread of the 1918 pandemic, right? So the medical science for a century is perfectly comparable to what people are being told to do now.
