You spent a LOT of time writing a lot of really good info debunking a very stupid disinformation campaign that literally not a single person who doesn’t already know it’s disinformation will ever read, much less accept. I’m sure you also know this.

Do you know anyone who was initially pro-vaccine who then converted to antivax after hearing antivax propaganda? Ever known anyone who’s ever known anyone like this? I’m going to guess no. Again, just a hunch. People who believe this sh*t are committed to believing sh*t

These aren't 2 segregated camps. Many people are uncertain about vaccines and look for information online. If all they see is anti-vax propaganda with no debunking and no accessible, evidence-based vaccine info, they're going to more easily accept anti-vax ideas.

What are you really arguing against here? That lies don't deserve to be disproven? That people don't need factual info at a scary time? I don't understand what your point is.

I felt I was clear what my point was — the info you provided, while
% true, is preaching to the choir. You’re debunking junk science to a bunch of ppl who didn’t believe it in 1st place.
Don’t believe me? Look at the comments to your thread. 100% agreement with you. (1/2)1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

...my real point is that we don’t fight ignorance and pseudoscience by posting the info where humans’ confirmation bias won’t allow them to look or accept facts from. This message needs to be spread by the (conservative) news orgs they trust. I admire your optimism though. (2/2)

Anti-science views, while held by a tiny minority, have a very loud and vocal presence on social media. Social media is a perfect place to disseminate good info because many people use it: the majority is open to learning and the minority shouting disinfo should be drowned out.

It's a minority, but I'm not sure it's that tiny a minority. Not any more.

I was truly disturbed to see how many people whom I considered at least not unreasonable shared the “Plandemic" video with Judy Mikovits.
