I know, I know. It’s a very formulaic show, but so was #LawAndOrder, and so are several TV shows I enjoy. I don’t mind the formula and enjoy the mysteries and the travel eye candy.

I love how the formula is so sturdy that it almost doesn’t matter who the “fish out of water” British DI is on the fictional Caribbean island of Saint Marie is. The main star can be changed at will, almost like Doctor Who.

We've just got Britbox. Blimey.. there's some FANTASTIC stuff on there. We spent all last night watching Father Ted. I can heartily recommend Life On Mars and Ashes To Ashes if you've not seen them previously.
