I think that "unwittingly or knowingly" part matters. I'm pretty sure he didn't go into this wanting to spread denial. I happen to think he's wrong about this, but I believe he is acting in good faith and trying to figure out how we handle this best.

It's Fox News. If he doesn't know what Fox News is and does, then he's clueless. If he does, then he wasn't doing it in good faith.
