Remember kids, if you get an elevated potassium, the next step in management is NOT repeating the test. It’s to get an ECG. And don’t come at me with hemolysis. And don’t come at me with it’s asymptomatic. And don’t come at me numbers and phony correlates to ecg changes!

Couple things about kids: 1) Maybe don't address people that way, especially if you intend to gain their respect and provide education. 2) In kids, maybe repeat the lab unless there's reason to suspect that it's real. There's a high rate of falsely high K.
