Whenever I see a complaint like this about Dr. Birx or Fauci (and I see a lot of them), I want to respond: OK, then. What, specific actions do you expect them to take, in order to “stop placating the lunatic”? No vague platitudes.https://twitter.com/NancyLeeGrahn/status/1253502697161895937 …

People who lay down such hot takes as “Birx should have stood up and say no” when Trump spouted off about UV light really haven’t thought things through, have they? Directly challenging the man-baby on National TV would NOT have gone well.

What you’re saying you don’t want Trump to appoint Kid Rock to replace Dr Birx?

No, not resign. She needs to stop him mid stride and correct him in real time. She is the authority and has sworn an oath to do no harm. By placating him with a weak response to his dangerous suggestion puts people's lives at risk. If he fires her, then so be it.

Seriously? And how do you think that would have gone, directly challenging President Man-Baby on national TV? No, seriously, how do you think that world have gone down? You’re peddling a feel-good fantasy, not reality.

I think you are being a bit disingenuous. Dr. Brix is dangerous. Her tepid "Not as a treatment." Give me a break. She should have said "NO." This enabling is dangerous.

Eventually we’ll realize they are heroes; they maintain at least a modicum of control/sanity. If they resign, can you imagine the sycophants lining up...we’d be in far worse shape. I’d love for them to be able to tell him to go f*ck himself, but am relieved they’re there for us.

I think they want them to commit verbal seppuku on live tv.

The fact that they're on the platform with the deranged Emperor gives him a pseudo-scientific, pseudo-medical legitimacy he doesn't deserve. They should simply not be present at these ridiculous circuses.

Speaking from the perspective of having a parent that can't see any conflict between the doctors and Trump, it is their presence (and not anything that they say or do) that is the problem, giving his insane grunts an assumed approval because their objection to it is not obvious.
