Am I the only one who has been feeling the desire to go to bed before 7 PM on a fairly regular basis?

Yes. I often fall asleep on the couch by 8 or 9 PM, wake up at 1 or 2 AM to head up to our bedroom, and then can’t get back to sleep until 4 or 5 AM, sometimes not at all the rest of the night. This whole thing has screwed up my sleep/wake cycle.

I’ve written and submitted a manuscript, but it took way longer than it should have. I’m working on an R01 for June 5 but am way behind where I should be and can’t generate any new preliminary data because my lab is shut down.

Basically, my productivity sucks right now. The only time I can focus as I did in the past is when I’m seeing patients because patients deserve my full focus.
