As I said yesterday, an unholy alliance between #COVIDIOTS (a.k.a. #COVID19 #pandemic deniers) and #antivaxxers to oppose #StayAtHome orders through #ReopenAmericaNow is developing . These people are a horrifying threat to public health. #OperationGridlockhttps://sciencebasedmedicine.org/covid-19-pandemic-deniers-and-the-antivaccine-movement-an-unholy-alliance/ …

The vast majority of these
#ReopenAmericaNow protesters are right wing@realDonaldTrump supporters. It's not even close. If you look at the photos and video, there are more#MAGA hats and Trump flags than are easily countable.

Actually, no it doesn't. That's a fallacy. The proportion of people who are antivax varies little across the political spectrum. Moreover, now, in 2020, the loudest and most influential antivaxxers are right wing.https://respectfulinsolence.com/2019/04/19/gop-has-become-antivaxer/ …

The antivax movement has been around for centuries. 10 years ago it may have been more left extremists. These days the focus has shifted more rightward. Generally, the more extreme you are on either side, the less you trust vaccines.

Actually, ten years ago it wasn't more leftwing. I've been following the antivaccine movement for over twenty years, and it's simply not true that antivaxxers were more left wing a decade, or even two decades, ago.
