    Except that #hydroxychloroquine very likely doesn’t work against #COVID19. https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/miracle-cure-testimonials-aside-azithromycin-and-hydroxychloroquine-probably-do-not-work-against-covid-19/ …https://twitter.com/kksheld/status/1249686127067508737 …

Holding back Hydroxychloroquine use until patients are hospitalized makes as much sense as holding back Tamiflu until patients are hospitalized. Non-sense.

isn't the entire theory (unsupported by experimental data in COVID) that HCQ would have some anti-inflammatory effect (like it does in RA/lupus) that is therapeutic for those with cytokine storm ...which would make it entirely relevant to only use when hospitalized

With the massive amounts of in vitro studies completed in this drug, we would already have good data suggesting it might be effective if it was - anti viral studies have not proven an effect. Shouldn’t she know that? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Good god, this woman claims to be trained in the sciences? It’s as if we’re rehashing the Cold Fusion debate, only this time our lives are in actual danger if the assertions of the profoundly ignorant are allowed to persist. Why not wait the results of the testing underway?

We've been rehashing it on the quiet for years. First it was "Measurement error + magical palladium = Fusion", then we moved on to "Measurement error + magical bubbles = some heat ... something something ... fusion". They have probably moved onto using jade vagina eggs by now.

I see she is Texan and believes in God over government 😳.....bit of a foreign concept to us in the Great White North. But we do believe that Tamiflu has been around long enough and been tested enough to understand when to use it and what the risk profile is 😷

I have to say this pandemic experience has really made me a "layman" very cautious when reading medical advice from anyone with an MD after their name (read Kris Held). We can't assume an MD automatically conveys omnipotence.
