So if chemo is not a sure shot cure or remedy for cancer, then why administer it, with such concerning side effects? Hmm..?

#Hydroxychloroquine has also studied extensively - have you done literature search about its mechanisms in human cells? Especially its action as an ionophore for Zn and zinc's destruction of the RNA polymerase copy machine?

Yes. And it has been shown to have no effect on viral infections.

That is either being facetious or lazy! If only you would do some research...but you would not.

There is more to "evidence" than clinical trials with control groups and randomized double blind etc.

I agree and I agree HQC is not proven within that process. However, I don't not agree that there is no evidence of its efficacy.

There is evidence of efficacy for #hydroxychloroquine, but it's all from highly dubious studies, which is basically equivalent to no evidence, as far as I'm concerned.

Do you suspect that @IHU_Marseille is not achieving the results they say they are, and are fudging numbers to make it look better, or do you suspect they are getting good results "accidentally" and are sloppy at publishing scientific papers? Or something else?

All we can reasonably say is that the methodology was poor.

There is also evidence outside of medical studies. Consider how a computer science "big data" approach might try to determine if HCQ had treatment efficacy. By itself that ought never be used for medical science, but could help us sort the current cases and gain insight

There's a ton of research on the use of #Hydroxychloroquine invivo and invitro on viruses including its actions even on HIV virus! Thus far HCQ has been safe and almost 100% effective whenever used. When not used, fatalities can go north upto 80% as we see in NY.
