As a fellow “board-certified” doctor, I can confidently say that (1) we don’t yet know whether #Hydroxycloroquine works against #COVID19; (2) we do know enough to know that, if it does work, the effects are likely modest; and (3) you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Even worse, the population that gets the sickest from COVID-19 (elderly, underlying heart and respiratory complications) are the ones most at risk for side effects. All these "I'm a rheumatologist I prescribe it I've never seen a side effect" posts are ridiculous.

You are a Psych, not a PUD nor ID. Shutup. You especially have no idea what you are talking about. Take your own chill pill and relax the ego.

Hi, i'm a specialist in psychopharmacology and wrote a review article (in publication) on the psychiatric side effects of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, and a chapter on QT prolonging medications. This is totally within my professional expertise. Expertise ain't ego.

Raoult is awful. A man who, by reports, is abusive to his own staff and who doesn't believe in randomized trials (no joke). Nothing he says or claims is worth anything. He skips the science to promote himself

He’s also been caught falsifying data in the past. I don’t trust a thing that comes out of his institute.
