As a fellow “board-certified” doctor, I can confidently say that (1) we don’t yet know whether #Hydroxycloroquine works against #COVID19; (2) we do know enough to know that, if it does work, the effects are likely modest; and (3) you don’t know what you’re talking about.

No, they don't. Neither of the French trials were randomized trials. The first trial didn't do an intent-to-treat analysis and excluded patients who deteriorated on the combo. The second trial was single arm and included overwhelmingly patients with mild disease.

As for the Chinese randomized studies, one was negative. The "positive one" claimed to be double blind, but was not. No placebo; so groups could be ascertained. Its positive result is likely due to placebo effects, as the primary endpoints were mostly subjective.
