My goodness, is that not Blake’s Seven? I mean, wow... takes me back... but what has that to do with scrubs?

Reminds me of certain members of the RAAF who cut about in flight suits in all manner of situations, & in some cases despite not even being aircrew.

True, but I remember reading research in med school that the public views scrubs as more professional for physicians than business clothing in clinical settings. But I'm biased, having slight sensory issues (aka all female professional clothing).

Unsure of that specific study, but makes sense a la white coat. Issue simply is scrubs outside of clinical settings--how clinicians use them as a signal marker when doing media appearances (e.g., Dr. Oz) or other situations (e.g., as
@Gorskon noted wrt trying to "score digits").

I've sat in bar in scrubs before, although more of a got off work and a portabella swiss burger with curly fries and Guinness sounded awesome. Using lots of clothes=more time sitting in laundromat

Although a former dick coworker (male) said he was thinking people would mistake him for a doctor (actually a cleaner).
